The LFA is Lexus’ first attempt at a supercar, and one of the best. No, not their best, but one of the best supercars ever made. Production began in 2010 and ended in 2012, but the LFA was in development for much longer than that. Lexus had been working on it for 9 years, but halfway through, they decided the aluminum body wasn’t going to work, so they got rid of it in favor of a carbon fiber one and started the it all over again. What they came up with is the amazing Lexus LFA. A symphonious V10 heart, occupying the space of a V8 and the weight of a V6, it matched the LFA’s excellent suspension perfectly. Jeremy Clarkson still claims it’s his favorite car of all time, and it’s hard not to agree with him.
